Avengers: Endgame has no post-credits, but in the end there's something

If there is one thing that all movies from Marvel Cinematic Universe have in common, you can enjoy something special after the main story. Each previous MCU movie has a medium or post-credit sequence, and often both movies contain both. It all changes with Avengers: Endgame, which will be released this week.

Do not worry, there are no endgame spoilers here. For more information on this film, see our Avengers: Endgame review or some reviews from the entire industry.

Avengers: Endgame marks the MCU's 22nd film and for the first time in the common film universe, that has no visual outcome attached to the sequence at the end, which comes next for Marvel. However, there may be a reason to linger, as an audio signal will eventually appear when the Marvel logo is displayed. The metal-metal sound is open to interpretation, but it is believed that Tony Stark forges his first Iron Man armor. Once the credits start rolling, you have the choice. You can leave the theater or be in the credits to hear a sound that may or may not mean something.

Endgame is the end of Phase 3 of the MCU, and as we learned last month, these 22 films will be known as The Infinity Saga As for the final sequences in the middle and final credits, Infinity War ended with Nick Fury, who contacted Captain Marvel about a pager. Ant-Man and the Wasp caught Scott Lang in the Quantum Empire Marvel showed us Carol Danvers, who answered the pager's call in the presence and met the Avengers. In addition, there were a few comedic moments after the credits.

Some of these sequences give the audience an indication of what's coming next. However, since Endgame is the end of the 22-movie journey, there's nothing to tease before the start of Phase 4 ̵

1; though Marvel boss Kevin Feige has made it clear that Spider-Man's Far from Home and not Endgame technically marks the end of Phase 3 Maybe there'll be an indication of what's coming out there as soon as the movie is released in July.

In our Endgame review, GameSpot's Mike Rougeau wrote: "Endgame is really a love letter to the entire MCU – the whole thing." Also, enjoy our predictions about who's going to die in the above video, the latest teaser for the movie, and the best ways to avoid spoilers for endgame, which will hit theaters on April 26th.
