Recently, Fox News executives questioned the validity of the House Democrats' efforts to prosecute the president. They also helped draw attention to the revealed theory that Ukraine interfered in the 2016 Democratic support elections. This theory is favored by Mr. Trump, but contradicts the findings of the American intelligence agencies and the report by Müller that Russia was involved in the Republican support elections. And moderators like Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham have continued to support the president.
Nevertheless, Trump believes that the network has become more critical of him and that he has become increasingly critical of Fox News by denouncing some presenters and reporters he does not consider friendly such as Shepard Smith and even Ed Henry, with whom he recently conducted an interview. And while Mr. Trump frequently speaks to Tucker Carlson, another Fox News presenter, Mr. Carlson has criticized Mr. Trump's July call with the President of Ukraine, who initiated the impeachment investigation. Mr. Carlson said there was "no way" to rate what was happening on this call as positive for Mr. Trump in a column on the Daily Caller website.
The survey found that 51 percent of respondents believe Mr. Trump should be charged and removed from office. Another four percent said he should be charged but not released, and 40 percent opposed the lawsuit against Mr. Trump.
"From the day I announced that I ran for president, I NEVER had a good @ FoxNews survey. Whoever pollsters you are sucks, "Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter. "@FoxNews is also a lot different than before."
In another tweet, he added, " @FoxNews is no longer delivering to the US It's so different from before, well, I'm president!"
