Barry Jenkins has joined the reported millions of people who watched Netflix's "Bird Box" this month.
On Friday, the director "If Beale Street Could Talk" praised Vivien Lyra Blair, the young actress in the Netflix original, who starred in the movie "Girl."
"By the way, the little girl in BIRD BOX is incredible!", He tweeted on Friday. "Steals every scene, every moment she's on the screen – in [Vivien Lyra Blair] we're Stan."
The dystopian sci-fi film, directed by Susanne Bier, was reportedly seen by more than 45 million  Netflix subscriber accounts since it was available for streaming on December 21st , the company said.
"Best first [seven] days ever for a Netflix movie!" Wrote the streaming giant on Twitter.
Blair's play Résumé involves playing the character Serenity in the miniseries "Waco."
Other Twitter users have since responded to Jenkins & Tweet and also shared their admiration for the child actress.
"Friends and I talked about it over dinner last night," wrote a Twitter user. "She did that! Well done young [Vivien Lyra Blair] !! You have shone! "
