Bat at Pacers game against Clippers could have exposed fans rabies

This season there has been a flood of bats in the NBA games.

Bats flew twice this day within days at the AT & T Center – one of which brought the Spurs mascot into a witty rescue.

But a bat that quit Indiana Pacers' Thursday game against the Los Angeles Clippers in Bankers Life Fieldhouse may have exposed fans of rabies.

Indiana's US Department of Health announced that anyone who struck the police should contact the department or their health care provider to receive the rabies vaccine, according to the Associated Press.

Bats are out of the arena at present, so their rabies status is currently unknown
