A "drunken" fan was charged after running on stage hunting Beyonce and Jay-Z during the on-track "On The Run II" tour of the Atlanta music duo, police said Sunday.
Anthony Charles Thomas Maxwell, 26, was charged with a simple battery after burping chaos at the end of the couple's concert Saturday night at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta policeman Lisa Bender said. Videos of concertgoers showed Maxwell leaping onto the stage as Beyonce and Jay-Z ran away. The replacement dancers seemed to be confused until the man ran to the stage.
Bender said Maxwell had made contact with Jay-Z, but he was quickly stopped by security guards and backup dancers with the rapper.

Touring team "On The Run II" published a statement on Sunday that "a drunken man took the stage"
"At this point we had a controlled evacuation of all the crew on stage, To spread the situation confidently, "adding the read statement, that the Carters decide not to press charges against the drunk fan.
Maxwell was not so happy with the Atlanta police, who initially published a citation against Maxwell for improper conduct before releasing him. Bender said the additional fee was added later.
Maxwell was treated for minor injuries. No one else was hurt.
