Monday sparked some flames in the Alex Guerrero-Tom Brady-Bill Belichick saga.
After losing the privileges of traveling with the New England Patriots last season, Guerrero, Brady's coach and business partner, has been thrown back, as evidenced by the fact that he was on his way to a preparatory match against the Carolina Panthers last week ,
This caused Brady's weekly hit on WEEI's "Kirk and Callahan" on Monday to be questioned, prompting Brady to quit the interview after three questions.
Guerrero has become an interesting figure around the Patriots, although his direct involvement in the team is still unclear.
Later on Monday, during his weekly interview, Belichick illuminated the situation of Guerrero WEEI's "Ordway, Merloni and Fauria."
"He is not a member of the organization," Belichick said. "He works at TB1
"Again, you need a few extra people on match day," added Belichick. "Video department, it could be specialty people in medical staff, security and so on. We have other people who are – some are full-time, some we call it player-type staff because of the higher demands of certain areas on the match day. "
While Belichick's comments are not a complete sketch of what Guerrero is doing with the team, there is at least some insight into his involvement.
