The Blazers had to win and lost either the Nuggets or the Timberwolves to secure a playoff spot.
The Blazers beat the Clippers on Friday, 105-96, at the Moda Center. They entered the game with the chance to guarantee a playoff spot. But both Minnesota and Denver won their games. So it has to wait.
But the good news was that the Blazers won. Here's how it went.
Blazers First Half
No team scored until nearly three minutes had passed in the first quarter.

In the second quarter, Portland took a six-point Guided tour, 37-32, thanks to the Zach and Ed show: over, rebounding and dunking.

And they played so well in the fourth that Collins, Caleb Swanigan, Shabazz Napier and Pat Connaughton all came considerable playing time. This was mainly because Davis was out with a twisted ankle.
