RIO DE JANEIRO – According to Brazilian authorities, there has been a "massacre" in the country's northern state of Pará without details being announced, while Brazilian news media claim that gunmen attacked a bar in Belem City and killed 11 people.

The G1 Laut News website reported police that seven armed men opened fire on a bar. According to G1, the police also reported a wounded in the attack.

A spokeswoman for the state of Pará, Natalia Mello, can only confirm that there was a massacre in the state.
