Breast Cancer Survivor "Pack the Mall In Pink"

"Pack the Place in Pink" began in 2007 when Skyview Volleyball Coach Vicki Carl was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Eleven years later, teams and other groups organized their own events to support the cause.

The Rimrock Mall held a fashion show at "Pack the Mall in Pink."

It is part of the non-profit organization "Pack the Place in Pink".

The event also attracts attention and reminds women of an annual screening mammogram over 40.

The group is raising money to help breast cancer patients in Montana.

"It's so wonderful for them," said Tracy Kangas, a "Pack the Place in Pink" board member. "They form a group and a bond with each other, looking forward to this event every year, and it's also good for the new survivors, the new cancer patients, who are in the process because they know there is hope."

"These women are survivors," said Jennifer Jodrey, Head of Mammography Technology at the Billings Clinic. "We just love them and are only encouraged to see them and live their lives, and that's just something that reflects that."
