BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – CHI St. Joseph Health is offering a cancer survival program designed to address the continuing health problems of cancer patients even after a remission.
During this Breast Cancer Awareness month, CHI Director of Therapy Services Emily Jarvis joined First News at Four to discuss the program for breast cancer survivors.
"It involves monitoring them and connecting them with providers they may need services from," Jarvis said. "In addition to routine services, patients may experience complications, and we associate with services to meet those needs."
Jarvis says the program also provides a focus on nutrition and fitness specifically for breast cancer survivors. For more information, see the video player above.
