Britain's health service to reduce "unnecessary" treatments

LONDON (AP) – Britain's National Health Service has proposed to reduce surgeries such as breast reduction and anti-snoring treatments to save money and reduce "unnecessary or risky procedures". The announcement came as thousands were expected at a demonstration on Saturday in London on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the NHS, calling for an end to government budget cuts.
