British Airways' cargo operations are severely disrupted as airline pilots strike today and tomorrow.
The strike is the result of a continuing dispute over pay between British Airways and the pilot union BALPA.
The labor action is the largest ever carried out by British Airways. About 1,700 passenger flights were canceled, leaving the cargo managed by IAG Cargo on the ground. Since BALPA did not pinpoint which pilots would strike, we could not predict how many would get to work or which aircraft would qualify for the flight. So we had no choice but to cancel our flights almost 100 percent.  "We remain willing and willing to return to talks with BALPA."
Another statement from IAG Cargo last week said: "BALPA's unjustified strike action affects parts of our cargo opera
" Our British Airways Flight plans have been updated and are now available on ba.com. We are working to limit the operational impact of this unacceptable measure, and we will continue to keep customers up to date with the latest information. "
