Britney Spears performed on a red carpet on Friday to demonstrate her support for her friend Sam Asghari.
The 37-year-old singer competed for the Daytime Beauty Awards in Los Angeles, where Asghari received an award. Spears wore a black mini dress with strappy heels while 25-year-old Asghari rocked a gray suit with a white button-down button.
According to TMZ, Spears posed after posing with her lover for photos. However, one source later made it clear to People magazine that Spears "only took pictures with him from the start to support him."

"He wanted to leave for honors anyway," added Asghari's insider, who received the award for "Outstanding Performance in Fitness".  also shared a video clip of her dance before the event on Instagram Friday night.
