The man accused of killing his brother, sister-in-law, niece, and nephew before setting fire to his Colts Neck home will be appearing in court for the first time today.
Paul Caneiro is charged with four counts of murder.
Canerio and his brother had a joint business, and prosecutors claim that the motive for the murder was financial.
Prosecutors say Canerio shot his brother, shot his sister-in-law, and both stabbed their children 10 days ago.
He is accused of setting fire to his Colts Neck house.

According to police, Caneiro returned the same morning to his Ocean Township home I got it with his wife and daughters in the Inside set on fire.
They were able to escape.
Investigators claim Canerio has lit the second fire to destroy evidence and make it appear that his family has been targeted.
Caneiro's lawyer issued a statement saying, "There is absolutely no reason for Paul Caneiro to have committed the crimes he allegedly committed, he would never hurt a member of his family." 19659009]
