FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots released the contested addressee Antonio Brown on Friday, less than two weeks after his signature.
"We value the hard work of many people over the last 11 days, but we believe it is best to move in a different direction at that time," a statement said.
Brown, who used to train with the team on Friday, thanked the organization shortly before the move was announced.
