The Cleveland Browns have dismissed coach Hue Jackson after only three wins in two or more seasons, a source told ESPNs Adam Schefter on Monday.
Offensive coordinator Todd Haley was also fired as Chris Mortensen was confirmed by ESPN reported by NFL Network.
Brown's defensive coordinator Gregg Williams will be the temporary coach, sources ESPN said. He is in his second year with Cleveland.
The Browns are 2-5-1 this season, doubling the total of Jackson's first two seasons with the team. Cleveland was 1-15 in his first season and 0-16 last season. The Browns hired John Dorsey as General Manager late last season and Dorsey retained Jackson as manager despite the team's winless season.

There were rumors that the relationship between Jackson and Haley is worsening to the point had, on which a movement would have to be made. Haley was in his first season with the Browns after serving as the Steelers' offensive coordinator from 2012 to 2017.
The changes were also made with the development of Quarterback Baker Mayfield, the team's first draft pick, in mind, sources Mortensen reported. After news of the Browns' changes came up, Mayfield's college coach, Oklahoma's Lincoln Riley, was asked if he was interested in coaching in the NFL.
"I knew it would come," Riley said during his weekly press conference. You sit here and answer these questions and I always want to be honest. The truth is for me, I love Oklahoma. I love to coach here. I love college football. I do not have this itch I do not know that I'll ever do it.
"But I will never be a guy who gets up here and says no, no, as it never happens with these things, I do not know, but now I know that the NFL is less important to me."  Shortly after the Browns fired their head coach and offensive coordinator, Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley said he had no interest in training in the NFL. Brown lost to Steelers 33-18 on Sunday after playing at the season-opener against Pittsburgh The last five Browns Head Coaches – Romeo Crennel, Eric Mangini, Pat Shurmur, Rob Chudzinski and Mike Pettine – were all fired after the second Steelers game of the season. Jackson, 53, was head coaching for one season before coming to Cleveland, taking the 2011 Raiders to 8-8.
Since 2016, the Browns are most recent in the NFL in winning percentage, offensive efficiency, points per game and overall quarterback rating. Jack's career .205 win percentage is second worst in NFL history among all coaches with at least 40 games. The Browns also went with 0-20 on the road during Jackson's tenure, the worst road record by a coach with a single team in the Super Bowl era (since 1966).
The Browns host Chiefs Sunday.
Williams has extensive experience as a defensive coordinator in the NFL and was head coach of Bills from 2001 to 2003. He may be best known for being suspended for the league for a year in 2012, after he admitted his role in the Saints Bounty scandal.
Jackson's shots come one day after the Cleveland Cavaliers coaches Tyronn Lue have fired the team's NBA title in 2016, but struggled in his first season without star LeBron James.
