1; who should? It should be noted that there are no further signs of a devastating wound with the head closed, and therefore probably not posing a threat to oneself – is Bryce Harper, who along with the floppy Phillies plays the leg of a disappointing regular season and a series beatdown at the hands of the Nationals endures. The Phillies dropped out of the playoff competition in the first game of a double hit on Tuesday and then watched as the Nats celebrated their own playoff berth after another defeat at night. This is a low time for everyone in the Phillies organization.

The Nationals won again on Wednesday. As you can imagine, a crowd already determined to boast about Harper's judicious decision to earn a better salary and a firm commitment to choosing the team that will use him for virtually the rest of his baseball career , especially brave in the late stages of a fourth straight win in the series. Fans in the right field who had given Harper the business obviously got angry:

Harper declined to repeat or describe exactly what was in this Rowing -crossing Nationals fans, however, quickly proclaimed the love and support he receives from his new friends in Philadelphia, who are known around the world for their respectful and determined dealings with professional athletes:

According to a handful of Twitter users the offending mockers might have mentioned Bryce's little son, who would indeed be very lame. Harper did well to engage an implicit dig of Washington's moody fair-weather fans in his response to the incident, even though this meant perhaps exaggerating the warmth and hospitality of a fanbase that consumes its very meat when the Phillies are the same big disappointment in a year. Twelve years is a long time!
