QUEENS – A suspected burglar died on Monday after being stabbed and beaten by a baseball bat when two brothers returned to their homes in Queens, police said defend.
An unarmed man, 26, knocked and rang at 2:45 am at the door of a house on Williamson Avenue, police sources said.
When one of the two brothers opened the door, the man allegedly forced himself inside.
The resident's brother confronted the man and fought him, it was said. 19659005] The argument came to the streets, and the man accused of breaking into the house was stabbed and beaten by a baseball bat.
Police confirm that the alleged burglar has suffered a head trauma and puncture on the torso. He was taken to the hospital where the police said he was declared dead.
The incident was reported as a burglary attempt, the police said. The family living in the house tells the police that they do not know the suspected burglar.
The mother and sister of the brothers also live in the apartment. PIX11 cameras showed that one of the two women was interviewed by the police.
The brothers are 16 and 27 years old, the police said. It is not clear what role everyone played in the incident.
