More than 15,000 Californians have died as a result of the novel corona virus, the California Department of Health announced on Monday. From Saturday through Sunday, 31 people’s deaths were confirmed to be related to COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 15,018. The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state is 781,694, up 3,294 on Sunday. “As the number of cases in California continues to rise, so will the total number of people with serious consequences,” CDPH told A Daily Report.
