Lori Loughlin may have been dismissed from Fuller House for her alleged role in a college recording scandal, but her longtime co-star Candace Cameron Bure still has her back. When appearing on the show Today Bure said Loughlin was a "dear and close friend" and she still remembers her family.
Bure says she is praying for Loughlin
Bure and Fellow Fuller House star Jodie Sweetin starred in the morning show a game titled "TV Duo Showdown" against Growing Pains stars Kirk Cameron (brother of Bure) and Tracey Gold. Before the game began, Hoda asked Kotb Bure if she had anything to say about the scandal devoured
"It's too personal for us," she told Kotb. "We would never want to talk about someone who is such a dear and close friend. I already said that we are a family and we stand side by side praying for each other and we will always be there for each other. "Her co-star Sweetin nodded along with Bure's statement.
Lori Loughlin remains calm
While Bure had some words of support for her co-star, Loughlin remained calm as the scandal unfolded. "I can not comment right now," she told paparazzi who watched her last weekend.
Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Gianulli are being tried in Boston on Wednesday, April 3, along with defendant Felicity Huffman and a number of other parents who allegedly participated in the fraud, according to the government. While neither Loughlin nor Huffman commented on the case, others have defended themselves against the allegations, arguing that their actions are not illegal, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The charges associated with the possibility of a jail sentence the life of Loughlin. Daughter Olivia Jade, who has lost several Instagram sponsorship deals from major brands in the wake of the scandal, accuses her parents that the situation speaks neither to the mother nor to her father, the US magazine reported. Both Olivia Jade and her sister Bella have left the USC.
In addition to losing her job Fuller House Loughlin was also fired from the Hallmark Channel drama When Calls the Heart ] and Garage Sale Mysteries, aired on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
Some fans have suggested that Bure Loughlin may replace Abigail Stanton as mayor on When Calls the Heart. Bure is a regular on the Hallmark Channel, but the network has not shown any signs that they intend to take her to Loughlin to handle the popular drama.
