Cardi B suppresses rumors of her divorce from Offset.
The “WAP” rapper hopped on Instagram Live on Friday (September 18) to thank her fans for “all the love and prayers” they sent her. “I don’t really need it though. I’m fine,” she added. “I wanted to let you guys know that I haven’t shed a tear.”
“Every time this guy has been so crazy, so excited and got into the media, I keep crying, always sad, because I don’t like that kind of s,” Cardi continued. “I didn’t cry this time. You want to know why? The reason I got divorced isn’t because none of this happened ̵
I was just fed up with arguing, “she admitted.” I was fed up with not seeing things at eye level. If you feel like it just isn’t the same before you actually get betrayed, I’d better just leave. “
Cardi also made it clear that she hadn’t filed for a divorce as a publicity stunt for her upcoming album. “Nothing crazy about this world has happened, sometimes people really grow apart,” she shared. “I’ve been with this man for four years. I have a child with this man, I have a household with this man … sometimes you’re just tired of the arguments and the buildup. Sometimes you get tired and before something happens, you leave.”
Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset on Tuesday September 15, after three years of marriage, according to the Fulton County Magistrate in Georgia. The court documents received from Billboard point out that Cardi is asking the court to give her legal and physical custody of her child in the first place. Your hearing is scheduled for November 4th at 10 a.m.
