CLEVELAND – Cavaliers striker Kevin Love is on the road for the second time in a row because of a bad left foot.
Cleveland (0-5) receives the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night. Love did not play against Detroit on Wednesday and missed three of the Cavaliers play-offs due to the injury.
Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue said Love was trying to play through the pain and wanted to stay on the ground because of the team has been fighting.
Love has 19 points and 13.5 rebounds – both team highs ̵
Sam Dekker started on Saturday after Channing Frye had played against Detroit in Love.
Cleveland struggled to adjust without LeBron James after the four-time MVP signed with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Cavaliers have lost three street games and were burnt out at home to Atlanta and Brooklyn.
