CD Projekt Red has rumored last week that there will be some news on the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 at Gamescom 2018. While we're still waiting to see what exactly this news will be like, the game's official Twitter account has released some new screenshots this morning in what will hopefully be a hint of more material in the coming days. [ Update: CD Project Red has now released more concept graphics for the game that seem to reveal another puzzle.]
The four new screens show a variety of game characters and environments, including stills the demo CD project Red showed at the E3 2018 behind closed doors. In this sprawling demo, main character V and her massive partner Jackie were tasked with tracking down a missing cyborg gang of black market catchers. GameSpot's Alessandro Fillari decoded the demo as "overwhelming with all its details, but it gave us the impression that there was a big world with all sorts of systems to explore and mess with."
Cyberpunk 2077 has long since disappeared. CD Project Red first confirmed that they were working on a title based on the influential pen and paper game role-playing game of 2012. The first official gameplay was shown at this year's E3, and although no release date has yet been officially confirmed, we know that the game will appear on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
