Real Madrid, Man City faces a potentially brutal tie

Check out what we have here! Could we see Cristiano Ronaldo against his former Real Madrid club in the neighborhoods? Or could we get Ronaldo against Pep Guardiola and Man City? Lyon has a slight advantage over Juventus, but the Italian team still has a good chance of making progress with Ronaldo at the top of the attack. If Lyon advances, the Real and City winner will have a smoother path to the semi-finals. If the traditional powerhouses prevail after the round of 16, we could look forward to a series of delicious matchups on this side of the bracket until the final. Real Madrid or Man City could possibly get Juventus and then Barcelona or Bayern Munich before the final. It doesn’t get any harder.

RB Leipzig and Atletico Madrid receive a favorable tie

Neither team was expected to reach the semi-finals, but one will do so now. Atleti is the clear favorite at RB Leipzig, who sells striker Timo Werner to Chelsea, but this is a great draw for both as they avoid some of the giants and Europe and get PSG or Atalanta in the semi-finals.

‘Clear’ path to the final for PSG

No game in this competition is easy, especially now that we have a single-tie format, but the path from PSG to the final is much clearer than on the other side of the bracket. With Atalanta and then RB Leipzig or Atletico, PSG is the favorite for the final. This team has shown that it can compete against Ligue 1 with some shocking results. If it succeeds here, it will only be the recent European failure for the Paris club.
