Check out Shang Tsung Snatch Souls in Mortal Kombat 11's first DLC trailer

After Mortal Kombat creator teased Ed Boon several times on social media, we finally got footage of returning antagonist Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 11 of the DLC on June 18 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. In addition to the new character, Kombat pack owners will have early access to classic skins for Scorpion, Noob-Saibot and Sub-Zero.

As the original antagonist of the Mortal Kombat series, before being quickly thrown off the side of the sorcerer Shao Khan and Shinnok has undergone many changes throughout the series. However, his style of fighting always focused on his ability to steal the souls of men and use their talents against them. The Warlock not only copies his opponent's apparitions and abilities, but also uses the souls of returning ninjas Rain, Smoke, and Ermac, which, interestingly enough, are found dead in MK1

1's crypt. During the fight, he can use her skills in the middle of the combo and use Smoke's teleports, Ermac's telekinesis, and Rain's water-based abilities. His death, however, is the cruelest recall in which the MKII chief Kintaro returns unexpectedly and violently.

For those who have already played Mortal Kombat 11, you know that Shang Tsung is currently in the stadium game as a guide to MK11's crypt. In the crypt you can explore its island fortress and uncover its secrets. He alerts you to all premature deaths that occur during your journey. Now that he's playable, the soul-thirsty warlock looks at home in the brutal battles of Mortal Kombat 11. Fans of the original live action film will find that Shang Tsung is performed by Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, the same actor from the film.

The new trailer was all about Shang Tsung. But it also teased what was to come. Towards the end, three other characters were briefly referred – including the returning characters Nightwolf and Sindel, who both had their first appearances in Mortal Kombat 3. The last person to receive a reputation, however, was Image Comics & # 39; Spawn – who is the first guest character to make it to MK11. This news is unlikely to surprise those who kept pace with certain recent leaks that suggested the return of these characters, along with Sheeva from MK3 and Ash Williams from the Evil Dead.

In total, you get access to six new characters and 19 extra skins for the roster with the $ 39.99 Kombat package. Just like the current characters, each new fighter will have their own gear and skins to unlock. In 2015, the squad of Mortal Kombat X expanded significantly with the influx of DLC fighters. So it will be interesting how much MK11 will change over time after the start.
