Chick-fil-A urges people to eat "mor chikin" by passing it on for free.
From August 30 to September 29, customers signing up and their Chick-fil-A One account via The Chain's mobile app will receive free eight-piece nuggets in all over 2,300 restaurants in the country. Both pressure-cooked and grilled chicken are part of the action.
"We would like to thank the millions of customers who have joined Chick-fil-A One on our mobile app, and this is just a small way to show our appreciation." Chick-fil-A A senior leader Kaitlyn White said in a publication.
Chick-fil-A One is a staggered membership program that allows guests to earn redeemable points on every purchase. Higher-tier members, categorized as Silver and Red, earn points for every dollar spent, have the ability to distribute rewards to others, and can choose to feed Chick-fil-A on their behalf to Feeding Children Everywhere, a non-profit organization.
