Chris Hadfield, a Canadian astronaut, was blinded seventeen years ago on a spacewalk. His eye was irritated with cleaning fluid during a critical construction journey on the ISS that caused him tremendous pain. He opened a cleaning valve in his suit to clear his eyes.
This first aid helps him to clear his tears and he was able to continue to build Canadarm 2, which is still used for spaceship and outboard stays at this time. Today, Hadfield shares his abilities in space in a MasterClass video designed to help astronauts with their missions. Everyone is invited.
According to Chris Hadfield, he was happy to explain to astronauts the true meaning or essence of space travel. He believes that it is just a contemporary and interesting topic. His goal was to teach a basic lesson, because anyone can follow links to get detailed information about life on the Red Planet, the rocket design, and the feel and experience of an astronaut.
