One of the biggest events in the history of comic movies was in 2015, when Spider-Man, a character whose cinematographic rights belonged to Sony, was announced to officially join the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make his debut in . Captain America: Civil War . The growing popularity of the MCU has put Marvel Studios under pressure to find the perfect Peter Parker to bring the character to life. Tom Holland eventually grabbed the role and the fans valued his attitude towards the Wall Crawler, although his former co-star Chris Hemsworth recently revealed that he deserves to make a call to support Holland.
"I mean Look, we've collaborated on In the Heart of the Sea obviously then by Avengers and when they cast him for Spider-Man, I did what I could and made a phone call saying he was one of the most talented people I worked with, and I have such a big heart and appreciation, "Hemsworth revealed Entertainment Tonight . "I do not know, we have a great friendship, it's a good mutual respect."
This fateful reputation would lead to Holland establishing itself as the defining Spider-Man for a generation, following in the footsteps of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's brief stay with the character. Fortunately for the fans of the actor, Holland shows no signs of disruption after he had previously announced that he would like to perform as Peter Parker in the coming decades.
"It feels pretty good, it's an amazing actor experience and a privileged actor experience to play characters you love so much," Holland told the press during a scheduled visit to Spider -Man: Far From Home with. "Over and over again, I definitely have the mindset that if you want to make 20 of these films, then I'm downcast because it's really fun, it was a real privilege and so much fun, maybe this time it's even more fun was great. "
While Holland itself might be interested in playing the role indefinitely, the future of the MCU for Spider-Man is unclear. The character will probably get a third solo movie at some point, but there are still no reports of a new Avengers or other team film on the horizon. So it's unclear if we'll see Peter Parker scolding off any of our other favorite MCU characters.
Spider-Man: Far From Home will be released on July 2nd.
