Braves may try to add at least one more helper before Wednesday, 4pm ET trade date. They also consider the option to add a launch pitcher and a right-handed outfielder.
Allard was one of the best prospects of the game after the Braves had selected him with the 14th overall victory in the 2015 MLB Draft. In the last two seasons, however, the stock of the young left-hander has fallen. This year, he produced a 4.17 ERA in 20 starts for Triple-A Gwinnett.
