Considering his highly impressive curriculum vitae, which is full of transformative achievements, his three Oscar nominations and a win, it is hard to imagine that Christian Bale feels worried, a demanding role to take over. However, it turned out that Adam McKay wrote [1945456theroleofDickCheneyin Vice overlooking Bale. Bale, however, still had to worry about whether he wanted to sign up or not play the former vice president.

The film tells of Cheney's life from his younger years, when he gave himself a bit too much to secure the vice-presidency. All along he had his wife Lynne Cheney ( Amy Adams ) at his side, and though Dick was perhaps the one to take over, he was still a very team with Lynne using her own team Goals and ideals in support of his political ascension.
