Just a few weeks after millions of Comcast customers were hit by a nationwide loss of voice services, the cable giant responded on Friday to reports across the country that Internet and phone services were falling again.
We are currently experiencing a nationwide service interruption. We are working to get this resolved as soon as possible.

Many Comcast customers seized the opportunity to share their dissatisfaction or sarcasm with the cable and Internet giants.
Well, this Comcast outage is fun. Day 6 got tangled up in my apartment and I finally got some work. I am grateful that I have a smartphone to explain what happens.

Several companies, police and emergency services across the country used social media to let customers know how they could be reached during the outage ,
There was no immediate word from Comcast as to what was causing the disruption of the service
This month's failure lasted almost an entire afternoon before being largely resolved the next morning.
