Most superhero movie fans know that the presentations in Hall H are like part of an exclusive club, as the footage featured in these panels at the San Diego Comic-Con will not be released until the film premiere. Especially when it comes to Marvel Studios, which always have something special for the people who have been waiting for hours to come in – just like this year's Black Widow. Someone managed to capture a tiny corner of the footage from the presentation Black Widow . Unfortunately, it's not a clear shot for the exclusive clip that some people might hope for. It's more like Mark Ruffalo letting his Instagram live stream in his pocket.
But while the picture is shitty, the sound is loud and clear. We're afraid of the Marvel Studios snipers, just like everyone else, so we can not host the footage for you (and to be honest, you'd be disappointed anyway), but we can transcribe what we've heard.
The clip apparently starts with archive material from Black Widow Avengers: Endgame who gives her speech about joining Earth's Mightiest Heroes: "I did not have anything before, and then I got this job I was better because of that, but I made mistakes, I can not go back. "
Tony Stark is then asked," Does it have to be hard to shake this double agent thing, eh?
"It's coming for you."
The Marvel Studios logo appears, followed by a shot of a city that resembles a Russo Brothers movie, especially the text that cheers Hall H: BUDAPEST. [1
A few more dialogue lines, sounds like in Russian, and then the chaos breaks out. It sounds like a violent fight scene in which Black Widow apparently orders another person to "stay down." This precedes the sounds of an obvious fight scene.
The fighting stops and it seems that the two people have found common ground. Black widow says: "Nice to see you too, sister."
"Natasha," the other person answers.
"Yelena, you only had to come to Budapest, right?" Ask Natasha and confirm that Florence Pugh's character Yelena Bolova is the character she's fighting. Then the scene becomes chaotic, with cuts to Scarlett Johansson's commentary.
"I have a very specific skill, but I have red in my ledger, I would like to wipe it out."
Then we come to a fight scene and the logo. Based on the pop of the audience (and our own footage from Brandon Davis), it sounds like Taskmaster shows up here to fight Black Widow, making it one of the most exciting parts of the footage.
Against This Background It's about four minutes long and Marvel Studios is unlikely to release this footage as part of a trailer. But we should start watching some clips as we approach the premiere of the movie next year. Thank you so much @joshbrolin on Twitter!
Black Widow Premiere on May 1, 2020 in theaters.
