FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga. (WSB / CNN) – A McDonald's worker became viral after a woman posted a photo of him in the restaurant.

What happened next surprised Simon Childs and made him grateful for the photo.
But the photo contains even more.

Childs said he has no ill will towards the woman behind the Facebook post.
"I'm not homeless, not now, thanks to her," he said.
He looks forward to getting back on his feet – in new light pink shoes – donated to him in just the right size.
"I did not think the community would mind doing that, but they worry," he said.
Childs finds he has been offered jobs due to his viral fame.
He was excited to possibly get a permanent home for him and his son.
