Conan O'Brien names Abel Ferrara the worst guest of all time

Conan O'Brien has been hosting talk shows for 25 years, interviewing thousands of celebrities. But he chose a guest as the worst of times.

On a recent episode of the armchair expert with Dax Shepard podcast, the television presenter named the American filmmaker Abel Ferrara as the worst celebrity he interviewed.

"Abel Ferrara was an eccentric director," Conan said in a podcast.

"He fled in front of his segment during the show, ran away, climbed into the elevator and ran away on the street, and Frank (the segment producer) chased him and grabbed him."

The producer was able to get Ferrara into the Retrieving TV studio and putting him on stage Interview with Conan.

"He came in front of the camera against his will and then came out, and I think he started shouting at me," recalls the talk show host [1

9659003Ferrara Bad Lieutenant (1992) and The Funeral (1996) shuffled through the interview and seemed disinterested.

"Do you think he was intoxicated?" Asked Shepard.

"Yeah, I'm sure, or if not, he should have been," Conan replied, "I remember it was entertaining. If you ate 15 cloves of garlic, you would not say that this was a great experience, but you would n remember.

Conan was unimpressed by another guest he had hinted was a Lost star, the drunk was incited.

"A cast member on a particular show everyone was trapped on an island drinks and comes out and you could smell it," he said.

"They think they're funnier, they just laugh at those The things they say and the breaks they make are far too long, but in them they are, of course, the ones who kill them.

"There are people who come constantly and disrespect the form," he said.

Conan said his pet hate when actors come and behave as if they were appearing up on a talk show.

"It's just the tail wagging the dog -" If I'm difficult, I have to be a genius. "No, be a genius first. If the side effect is difficult, we will accept it," he said. "But do not be heavy in the hope that you may be a genius."

And finally, Conan praised actors from the UK who he said almost always make good guests.

"I'm always blown away by guests from the UK, there's something in the water," he said, "They tell you a story, they spin a yarn and it's beautiful."
