Since a California judge issued a ruling ordering coffee companies to put a cancer warning label on their products, the world has been seized with a tumult.
However, cancer experts have picked up the case and stamped coffee as safe cancer.
Elihu Berle, Judge of the Supreme Court, is said to be based on many studies involving cancer of a chemical called acrylamide, which is produced by roasting coffee beans.
J. The American Cancer Society physician told Fox News that the studies in question were carried out on animals who were given a much larger amount of the chemical than a normal human would consume.
"The substance is present in many of our foods, not just coffee. There was a little scare that it was in chips, and foods that are cooked at higher temperatures. A direct cause of cancer is very difficult. You must always a [suspected] risk in perspective, "Lichtenfeld quoted Fox News.
In addition, Ben Gaul, a coffee connoisseur in Rhode Island, spoke to the WPRI, a digital news platform, and said he could relax.
Gaul explained that it was me
He added, "We would have to have tens of thousands of times the dose we can get from a cup of coffee."
The chemical is available in many other foods including french fries, roasted vegetables and even grilled steak. Gaul continued, "We have a long history of cooking our foods, our bodies are used to consuming them and metabolizing them."
Gaul even talked about deciding to put in warning signs and he decreed that the law, Proposition 65, required warnings for hundreds of compounds known to cause cancer.
