Sen. Cory Booker accused Democrat President Joe Biden on Friday of not having the right "language" to talk about the race required for the party's nomination for 2020.
Booker's comment came after Biden had talked about racial relationships during a US appearance in Chicago earlier in the day.
"This kid wearing a hoodie may be the next poet and not a gangbanger," Biden said, making a point of rhetoric from non-profit organizations during his remarks at the Rainbow PUSH Coalition headquarters organized by Rev. Jesse Jackson.

But Booker, an African American Senator from New Jersey, quarreled with Biden's use of the word "hoodie".
"This is not a hoodie," Booker wrote on Twitter. "It's about a culture that sees a problem with a kid wearing a hoodie, and our candidate needs to have the language to talk about races in a more constructive way."
Other Twitter users also claimed Biden The claim that he used the word "gangbanger" was racially insensitive.
The rebellion against Biden took place less than 24 hours after his stage bout in Miami with Sen. Kamala Harris, another White House hope for 2020, during the second Democratic presidential election debate.
Biden and Harris became involved in the question of separation from the school. Harris attacked Biden's decades of work with segregationist senators, stating that she was only a member of the second-grade black children in California who needed a bus at school to force desegregation.

"I've heard and I hear and respect Senator Harris," Biden said, "but we all know that a 30-60 second debate in the election campaign can not live up to a lifelong commitment to civil rights."
