EXCLUSIVE : Famed astrophysicist / TV personality Neil deGrasse Tyson is under scrutiny as two other women accuse the Cosmos hostage of sexual misconduct. In light of the new allegations, the networks and producers swear behind the Emmy winner Cosmos r eboot to investigate the matter.
"The Credo in the Heart of Cosmos is to follow the evidence wherever they go," the show's producers said in a statement on Deadline. "The producers of Cosmos can not be less in this situation. We commit ourselves to a thorough investigation of this matter and to act accordingly once it is completed.

"We have just become aware of the recent allegations regarding Neil deGrasse Tyson," said the two networks in a statement on deadline. "We take these matters very seriously and review recent reports."
The action follows a report by David McAfee, in which Katelyn N. Allers, associate professor of physics and astronomy at Bucknell University, claimed Tyson grabbed a party during an American Astronomical Society's 2009 postpartum, while Tyson's former assistant Ashley Watson said she was forced to quit her job giving up because of inappropriate sexual advances.
The two women join musician Tchiya Amet, who a year ago accused Tyson of raping her while both were students. In a recent interview, she revealed more details about the alleged incident.
