A Humboldt County resident in their 1980s died in a hospital outside the county after being diagnosed with COVID-19. This marks the eighth death of a district resident related to the virus.
The health officer of the Humboldt district, Dr. Teresa Frankovich, expressed condolences to the family. “Our thoughts are with friends and family members who are feeling this loss,” she said.
Seven new cases of COVID-19 were reported today, bringing the number of residents of the county who tested positive for the virus to 508.
