Activision Blizzard has experienced some difficult times lately, with team members of Heroes of the Storm being fired from CFOs and other senior ones Employees in the company. However, it is still possible to attract some mainstream talents, including a large portion of Cyberpunk's Cyberpunk 2077 CD Project Red project.
CD Project Red has said nothing about the departure, or whether it will affect the release of Cyberpunk 2077 . In any case, but they would probably have said something if the game had been stopped for a long time. Most likely, they will continue to work behind the scenes and publish it whenever the time comes.
Where Stepien would best serve Blizzard, one can really guess. Most of their games benefit from strong storytelling. and there is a good chance that he may contribute to Diablo 4 or an unannounced project for the company. It will certainly benefit from his expertise, that's for sure.
We'll see if CD Projekt Red has anything to say about the departure in the coming days.
Cyberpunk 2077 Not Currently there is a release date, but it is expected to be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC when it's done.
