Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games following the success of The Witcher 3. However, the game will be a first-person RPG instead of third-person with incredible weapon combat on which the former Counterstrike has worked players and features katanas that distract bullets.
According to CD Projekt Red, this reveals new details about Cyberpunk 2077 cannon combat and other aspects in a German interview.
According to the developers, in Cyberpunk 2077 Cannon Combat was developed collaborating with a former Counterstrike player to capture the "groove" of a fun first-person shoot.
Not only that, CD Project Red also talked about the weapon the players have access to in the game.
One of the weapons that will make the Cyberpunk 2077 cannon fight exciting is the "katana" that players can equip, and as the title suggests, players can distract bullets with it.
It's definitely exciting to see this with developers as we take feedback from professional players for the Cyberpunk 2077 cannon fight and we're sure it will be exciting.
As the game is under development there is a chance that the bullet deflecting katanas will not come to the final version of the game as many features are cut out for gameplay balance.
While the game is being developed, the developers have confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 is currently playable from start to finish.
This means that the main and side quests are all there and the game only needs bugfixing, tweaking and polishing for the final version. We can also expect the announcement for the release date of the game in the coming months.
Not only that, the developers have also hinted that the world of Cyberpunk 2077 will be similar to GTA V and simultaneously different.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person action RPG under development on PC Project Red for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
