OAKLAND, Calif. – Four-time NBA All-Star Damian Lillard, his agents and Portland Trail Blazers basketball president Neil Olshey, meet in Oakland on Sunday for a four-year Supermax renewal valued at approx $ 1
The four-year contract, which begins between 2021 and 22, includes a player option last year.
Lillard, the NBA freshman of 2013, became second-team All-NBA honors this season and makes him a Supermax player.
28-year-old Lillard led Portland to the final of the Western Conference last season. There was no time left to defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder with three pointers and put him in five games to eliminate from the first round.
Lillard was promoted to sixth overall by the Trail Blazers in 2012 and has a career average of 23.5 points, 6.3 assists and 4.2 rebounds.
He is also a career shooter with 36.8 percent from 3-point reach, who has been remarkably durable in his seven-year career, playing 80 or more games four times in a single season and playing no less than 73.
