The film starring Ryan Gosling as astronaut Neil Armstrong will be released by Universal in October.

First Man written by Josh Singer ( Spotlight) Ryan Gosling plays astronaut Neil Armstrong, who became the first human on the moon on July 20, 1969 Claire Foy appears as Armstrong's wife Janet, while Corey Stoll and Mike Collins play the two astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Lukas Haas.
Universal will release the movie on October 12th.
The Venice Film Festival, which runs from 29 to 29 September. 8, together with the simultaneous Telluride Film Festival (31st August – 3rd Sept), marks the beginning of the autumn awards season.
