Dana White responds to Colby Covington: "He's a full-bodied, fucking idiot."

Colby Covington does not want Dana White beating the welterweight title by beating Kamaru Usman on UFC 245, and the UFC president is getting tired of Covington's speech.

A few days ago, the outspoken former Der Interims champion was asked about his tumultuous relationship with White and the prospect that the UFC president would beat the title in December with a victory around the waist.

"I can tell you who does not wrap it around my waist and that will not be Dana White," Covington told Submission Radio. "If he tries to wrap it around my waist, I'll take his belt off and hit him in the face."

After UFC on ESPN 6 on Friday night in Boston, White was asked about Covington's comments.

"Good luck with that," White replied. "He is a big idiot."

The origins of beef between the top welterweight contender and the UFC president go back more than a year when Covington won the inaugural title in June and won the title. Just three months after his title win, he joined UFC in September He could not fight Tyron Woodley.

Covington was even more irritated when Usman was offered a title shot the following March after Woodley had defended his belt against Darren Till.

At that moment, Covington White hunted at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas and interrupted his blackjack game to confront him for his title shot. Covington transferred the initial confrontation on his Instagram account, before finally talking privately to White about the situation.

Covington finally returned to action in August, where he defeated former champion Robbie Lawler to once again secure his place as contender No. 1

welterweight. He was then publicly involved with the UFC for contract negotiations over his fight against Usman, which was originally scheduled to take place in November.

Finally, an agreement was reached for the main event of UFC 245. But Covingtons problems with White have not been resolved, and it seems that the UFC boss is not retreating before the card of 14 December.
