Originally scheduled to launch on February 22, 2019, you'll have to wait a bit longer to get your hands on the upcoming PlayStation Exclusive title. The release date of Days Gone has been postponed to April 26, 201
Sony Worldwide Studios has announced the move on the PlayStation blog:
We'd like to announce a change in the release date for this highly anticipated title from Bend Studio. We recently decided to postpone the release of Days Gone from the crowded February time frame to April 26, 2019. While the studio is waiting to see Days Gone in the hands of fans, Bend Studio Days Gone
Days Gone is an open-world game where players play the Take over role of Deacon St. John, a biker who is just trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic and infected dynamic world. If the premise sounds familiar, it is because it resembles a number of different characteristics. Bend Studio promises that the game will provide a vibrant and changing open world that makes each player's experience unique to the game, even though its core priority is still well-known.
Days Gone was a divisive and polarizing title, considered by many to be potentially derived. We liked it a lot on a number of occasions when we had a preview. It was more than just a copy of other exclusive PS4 games or zombie games. With general hype levels not nearly as high for Days Gone as past PS4 exclusives-like God of War Detroit: Become a Man or Spider-Man- It makes sense that Sony would move the game to a less crowded release window to breathe it. The added polish is just a cherry on top.
What do you think of the Days Gone delay? Are you looking forward to the latest Bend Studio? Do not forget that Bend Studio also hires a brand new Triple A IP, so it looks as if they're going to new things when Days Gone is released.
