DE Michael Fletcher commits Michigan State Football



This week is getting better and better for Michigan State football.

The Spartans have now landed five recruits in the last two days and a total of six this week, as a 3-star defensive late Michael Fletcher verbally committed Michigan State on Friday night. Fletcher announced his commitment to the Spartans from his school, Carman-Ainsworth High School in Flint, Michigan.

Shortly after announcing his commitment to Michigan State, Fletcher shared the news on his Twitter account.

"Thank God you put me in that position I am very honored to be blessed and gifted, "Fletcher wrote on Twitter. "Thanks to all who helped me to get where I am, me and my family were talking and [they] [throughout] supported all this decision, and after long nights and prayers, I came to a decision I am delighted to announce my commitment to the MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY. "

The 6-foot-5, 240-pound Fletcher received quotes from some of the elite colleges in college football, such as Alabama, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Michigan , He also received offers from, among others, Purdue, Minnesota, Iowa and Iowa State.

Fletcher is Michigan's 11-ranked lookout in the 2019 class, the No. 25-ranked strong defensive end and No. 394-ranked total player, according to Composite Ranking of 247Sports in 2019.
