In a recent emergency call, an assistant to Demi Lovato calls paramedics and tells them that the singer is unconscious in her bed.
This nameless assistant looks surprisingly calm while he talks to the dispatcher in the following video:
HOWEVER, a new report wants to make something very clear.
No matter how sensible this assistant may sound in the call and no matter what you read about Lovato's overdose Tuesday morning (19659002) Lovato nearly killed himself.
The artist is very lucky to live now.
According to a TMZ insider, if the 911 call had only taken place for a short time later, or if the paramedics were late to come to Demi's house, "they could have died."
Lovato was unaware and barely breathed when she was discovered around 1
As mentioned earlier, Lovato received a Narcan dose to impact counteracting the opioids she was subjected to, which is a common maneuver for someone discovered in the singer's troubled state.
When she awoke, Lovato was reportedly uncooperative] She refused to tell the paramedics or the doctors exactly what she had taken.
Several outlets have confirmed that Demi had partied the night before in a bar in the Los Angeles area shooting photos with some dodgy friends. A group of these friends then went back to Lovato's apartment and continued the party until about 4 am
It is unclear whether anyone was lying around and was present when the medical technicians arrived hours later.
But it seems clear at this point that those who are particularly close to the singer have long been asking them to seek help.
"Her family has realized that they are not yet off the hook, and I am very worried that she does not see the severity of her problems and worries because she thinks she can control her addiction," she says a source entertainment tonight.
This source explains that Lovato's relatives feel even after after overdose
They still are not convinced that Demi is ready to rehabilitate herself the way she did it takes.
Lovato has been open for years with fans about her history of addiction and even eating disorders.
She was sober for six years before relapsing this spring, even confessed to the said relapse over the text in the song "Sober."
"There was a sitting talk to Demi and her team about a month ago to appeal to her that she is not sober anymore," another insider ET says, adding:
"Demi's team is on this path She went with her and although she was hesitant at first, she agreed to go to rehab.
"However, her manager Phil McIntyre took it and others said they would leave her if she did not get the help to convince her , "
Let's all keep praying that Lovato will soon see the light and is ready to begin her way sobriety once again,
