Democratic MEP joins migrants in Tijuana and trumps "Humanitarian Crisis"

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) Came to migrants in Tijuana, Mexico on Saturday and sent President Trump for triggering a "humanitarian crisis" on the border.

Jayapal, first vice chairman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, met with migrants seeking asylum in the United States. She told Politico Friday that Trump "lies about this caravan".

"He tries to use people who seek asylum and literally run for death for his own political advantage, and that's a shame," she told the sales outlet.

In a video posted on Jayapal's Twitter page, she said there must be a way to quickly process asylum seekers migrants, calling the situation "a humanitarian crisis by Donald Trump."

CRTV presenter Michelle Malkin told Fox & Friends on Sunday that she was not surprised that Jayapal joined migrants on the border.

"My question is, what oath took this woman?" She asked. "The oath of office for these officials obliges them to uphold our laws and our constitution and, first and foremost, to protect our citizens."

Malkin added that the problems at the border between the US and Mexico were ahead of Trump.

Jayapal Politico also said that "when she read reports of tear gas against migrants, she simply could not sleep."

"I want to see for myself what happens, what happens to asylum seekers when they come to the limit, how are they turned around, what happens to them in between, where are the conditions under which they live, "she said.
