Looks like Denver's design is now officially over. The Broncos exchanged their sixth round with their remaining seventh rounder against # 187 and selected the wide receiver Juwann Winfree.
Broncos acquired Carolina Rd 6-187 in exchange for Rd 6-212 and Rd 7 -237.

We chose Colorado WR Juwann Winfree on the sixth lap. He is a tough, physical player who has many top flight characteristics with his size, speed and hands. It's great to add another in-state player to the Broncos. pic.twitter.com/tnR8z29XUv

The local Colorado Prospect, Winfree, has a good size at 6 & 1; 210 pounds and will add more sportiness and competition to Denver's wide receiver group.
Good for WR Juwann Winfree – Injuries have hurt his production in college, but he has NFL talent. 6-1, 210 with 4.51 speed. Ex-Maryland.
If the #Broncos are patient, Winfree can stay on a squad.

Juwann Winfree stayed in Colorado to train before drafting at Landow Performance. I remember someone who knows him well and told me, "If you thought Phillip Lindsay would be surprised, wait until you see Juwann Winfree."

In the 6th Round Select 187, Broncos Colorado WR drew Juwann Winfree, who fought ankle sprains last season. Winfree is 6 & 2, 210, 4/48 40, great hands. Winfree has the same agent, Mike McCartney, as former CU teammate Phillip Lindsay; McCartney says Winfree is this year's Lindsay.
