Los Angeles Procuratorate identified one of its employees as one of three people found dead Wednesday morning in a suicidal death.
The bodies of Deputy Prosecutor Eric Lertzman, his wife, and their adult son were found At their home in the suburb of Northridge, the authorities said.
Los Angeles police arrived at home shortly after 9:00 am when they were reportedly shot dead. Inside, they found a man in his sixties, a woman in her fifties and a man in her twenties, LAPD officer Mike Lopez told Fox News.
They also salvaged two small arms, he said.

A woman in her twenties fled the house through a bathroom window and ran to a neighbor's house where she called the police, Lopez said. She was not hurt.
A neighbor told KTLA-TV that the woman in her pajamas had run out of the house and said her father had shot her.
She said, "My dad shot me and my mother and brother are still inside," said Greg Demos of the station.
The police did not name Lertzman as one of the deceased, but the lawyer from Los Angeles, Mike Feuer, later identified Lertzman as a husband in a "terrible tragedy." "He has been in the office since 2005.
"As we search for answers as to how this might happen, we grieve for the victims and embrace those who have been left behind in this time of unbearable loss with our love," said Fire in a statement, "Of course we will provide the members of our family of city lawyers with the necessary advice and support. Neither the Bureau of Fire nor the Police have identified Mother and Son "It was not clear what led to the shots," Lopez said. The police told the news station the Department home, there was no record of a troubled history.
Investigations continue and no suspects are sought, Lopez said.
