Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said on Monday that the team would give DeSean Jackson more to do if he recovers from a tummy-ache and thinks the wide-out is "coming closer" to get it back into the lineup.
Wednesday brought another update from Pederson and it does not sound like Jackson is expected to play against the Vikings this week. Pederson reiterated that the team was looking for Jackson to increase his workload, but that the team would see "what he can do only from the point of view of rehab."
"With a guy like DeSean, he's a track Type As a runner, he has to have some comfort with this injury, with all the stopping and starting, "Pederson said of NJ.com. "It's really that long before he gets to the point where we make a decision."
